CEO Background:  Marvin Koga is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  After graduating from college, he served in the U.S. army for seven years, involved in assignments in Germany and Vietnam.  Upon his return to Hawaii, Marvin helped to form Koga Engineering and Construction, Inc.  with his brother Malcolm.  He served as a supervisor in all aspects of general construction including estimating and project management.  In July 1984, he left the company to form his own business, Mega Construction, Inc.  Marvin is a past president of both the Construction Industry Legislative Organization(CILO) and the General Contractor's Association of Hawaii(GCA).  He is also a past director of the United Services Organization(USO) of Hawaii and past chairman of the Contractor Licensing Board of the State of Hawaii.  Currently, he is a member of the legislative committee and chairman of the membership committee at the GCA.
