The Organization:

Mega Construction, Inc. was formed on July 30, 1984.  It is a locally owned business, and conducts business solely on the island of Oahu.  The company is a medium-sized construction firm, and employs approximately 35-40 people.  Company revenues range from $7 to $9 million annually.  Mega Construction specializes in site work, including excavation, utilities and road work.  The company also provides subcontractor services to general building contractors.  The majority of the work obtained by Mega Construction is from governmental agencies through the competitive bidding process.  Clients include the State of Hawaii and the City & County of Honolulu.  A small percentage of work is obtained through negotiating contracts in the private industry.
